5¢ from every purchase helps support farming communities.

We believe in using business as a force for good. For every bottle sold, we donate 5¢ to support local schools, teachers and students in rural Latin America and the Caribbean. Our team works directly with school administrators and teachers to determine the best uses for these funds.

Since 2016, we have invested in training, supplies and basic infrastructure. The fund is managed by Just Made, so 100% of the money goes toward empowering our farming communities and their families.

Comedor Escolar Project

Ligüiqui, Manabí Province, Ecuador (near Manta) Approx. 35 students

The children of Ligüiqui now receive one nourishing meal every school day, five days a week. Before lunch was usually nothing more than plain rice and fish served only three times a week—malnutrition was common.

Today’s menu tells a different story: a hearty soup, chicken, rice, carrots, yogurt, fresh fruit, and a drink—all prepared in the new kitchen we built together with World Food Program USA.

Colegio Cristo Rey

San Marcos, Nicaragua (near Managua) 200 students from 1st– 12th grade

We purchased 12 desktop computers and software to update the computer lab for their high school-age students.  In addition, we paid for the instructor to attend a week-long computer skills course in Managua so that she could apply those skills in the classroom.

Escuela 4 de Noviembre

Liguiqui, Ecuador (near Manta, Ecuador) Fewer than 40 students.

We funded English classes for students from the area.  The classes were taught by a former Cirque du Soleil performer who was extremely entertaining and engaging.  He juggled different color balls to teach colors, performed magic tricks, and other interactive games while at the same time teaching English to students.

Escuela Rafael Ramirez

Near San Luis Potosi, Mexico 80 students from 1st-8th grade

The school’s director told us her biggest need, surprisingly, was functioning bathrooms.  In her words, “Do you know how hard it is to tell a 3rd grader to just ‘hold it’, and expect them to learn anything?”  We brought running water to the school, repaired the bathrooms, and repaired broken windows and light fixtures in the school buildings.
